Information
There are several different types of DOC/BIS lists with distinct requirements. The Commerce Control Overview and the Country Chart (§ 738 and Supplement No. 1 to Part 738) must be cross-referenced with the specific ECCN to determine whether your export is restricted to a specific country for the following reasons: chemical or biological weapons, nuclear nonproliferation, national security, missile technology, regional stability, firearms convention, crime control, or anti-terrorism.
